The Forgiven, The Forgiver, The Forgiveness - To Forgive or Fight Back !.

Forgiveness is one of the greatest attribute and has been considered a divine virtue by many wise souls, since the earliest physical existence on this planet.

It is a powerful, an invaluable but an extremely un-easy trait to cultivate or inculcate, but for the benefits-package it promises for every one of us, it seems to be worth the effort.

Its transient effects can be well perceived as instantly-thrilling, selfishly-immense, energy-conserving and ego-enhancing by the 'unaware, Mr. Forgiven'.
But for the latter, its surprisingly delayed but perpetual rewards are magically-creative, incalculably-intense, energy-focusing and ego-dissolving.

The Scriptures faithfully endorse this rewarding virtue and the Science has been suspiciously exploring this gainfully rare practice, even the earliest evidence-based-conclusions reflect, what has been confidently defined and documented in all of the supreme Scriptures centuries ago. The scientific research tries to document and patent that, what already has been done. And the spiritual diaries were meticulously detailed only after decades of focused, rigorous meta-physical research and practice, by the meditating spiritual scientists - the Sages.

Both, the forgiven and the forgiver involved stand to benefit from the choice that only one of them, Mr. Forgiver, is usually held responsible and sometimes requested to make, in a situation which most of the times is mutually stressful. This wise act of making a selfless, forgiving choice in a hostile situation by an individual, where a decision 'not-to-forgive' seems to be highly justifiable, decides the course the situation may take harbouring implications for both of them.

Usually only courageous individuals seek to forgive or are capable of forgiving. Courage is indeed required as one needs to exercise immense restraint on one's ego-driven senses of righteousness, honour, self-respect, integrity after being humbled or humiliated for inadequate reasons. But, still one chooses not to engage in threatening, punishing or demolishing a wrong-doer who is already a struggling, fearful, insecure, bundle of negative-thoughts, that Mr. Forgiven represents. Despite realising that a deserving punishment can be decisively inflicted and still choosing not to, makes Mr. Forgiver immensely powerful than the forgiven.
The punishment may not bring about a permanently desired gross change in the forgiver but only the noble act of forgiveness assures of a subtle but dynamic transformation, that may happen sooner or later; that too without any violence or wastage of intent, thoughts, speech and action.

Yes, I do agree, that in this fiercely practical self-centered world, the forgiver may be judged as weak or defenceless but in a vast spiritual field, the forgiver is far more stronger and even in a longer run in this short-sighted practical world as well.

Ever wonder, why Mr. Forgiver behaves in such a way; well from where I see, Mr. Forgiver already has access to much better alternatives and has committed himself to single-mindedly focus his harnessed creative energies on them rather than to un-gainfully engage in an attempt to neutralise a bundle of negative energy, already on its downhill path of auto-amputation.

So, to me it makes perfect sense, when you see the focused, wise Mr. Forgiver, opting to engage with energising, calm Miss Forgiveness; rather than choosing to deal with rude, abrasive and intoxicated Mr. Forgiven, and why not should every sensible person opt similarly ?

But, yes if you think that the sole purpose of your transient existence, is to show the defaulter his place or give him a taste of his own medicine and salvage some pride for your delicate, bruised complaining ego; then don't hesitate engage with them because, if you feel that way, then you must act that way. Be true to yourself. To ultimately realise that how wasteful such an  effort can be (just because there're so many of such negative bundles rolling around disenchanted around waiting to ambush someone) you surely need to go after a few of them to realise what a waste of time, effort & energy these encounters can be.

Please choose wisely & passionately, as your time, energy and breath - the Life here is limited.
