Two basic principles or deep laws that govern the Universe,
1. First is Rita - Regularity or order or law.
The Universe displays discipline.
Without it no scientific or moral discovery would be possible &
Human 'experience' would have no meaning, as there would be no learning.
2. The Second is Yajna - Sacrifice.
The Universe runs on renunciation.
The most significant human Action is sacrifice of personal gain for
something higher or holier.
If, Rita, regularity is the moral law governing the universal existence,
then Yajna, renunciation is the human response to live in accordance with the law.
We can use things,
but to be in harmony with the underlying laws of Life,
We should never feel that they are really ours.
Everything belongs to the Existence.

Is an act ever executed in a state of purity to be absolved from one's ego? Surely there will always be an element of ego-driven pride/satisfaction/grandeur in any 'selfless' random act of kindness. You can feel it even as you read this.... 'that' feeling in 'that' moment of pride....the feeling of 'I'. Only when one looks towards nature...actually studies and feels the tree essence...the solidarity and strength..the calm that is a mirror of the true calm one can feel inherent within...does one realise how little of what we all know and enact in each day means anything.... if perhaps nothing... at all. Ego-free sacrifice is seen only within mother Gaia herself......if we choose to observe.
